Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, esteemed members of the press, and His Holiness, the time has come to say goodbye.

I've always said to no one that I'd stop doing the comic when it stopped being fun and it has. Most of the work was through writting. The art didn't take very long and I kept feeling that I wasn't being challenged any by it. I have other things that I want to try, and DS got to be a thrice weekly obstacle, so I've decided to put it on indefinite hiatus. I'll still be updating Apathy Is Edgy weekly. But weep not for DS. It had a pretty long life as far as webcomics are concerned and the archives will be up for your viewing pleasure.

Sorry about the lack of updates this week. I've posted two new comics, featuring an all-new dialouge font! Fonts! Get excited!

Just a little update for all you Screamers out there. Apathy Is Edgy, my new rant site, was launched last week, so all of you are a week behind in my insightful gibbering. Cheers.

It appears that my hiatus was longer than previously anticipated. Comic Con was amazing. I've settled into my new surroundings in the basement of my house. I've turned 23. I've tasted fried ice cream. But it's not all bad news, oh no. I come bearing good news to the DS community, and I'm sure all six of you will be pleased to know that Distant Screaming, the one and only, will be updating again. So mark your calenders for this Monday for the "Return of the Grey."

Alright people, the time has come. Real life has begun creeping up on me and it's starting to take it's toll. I've secured a (semi) regular job, which is starting to cut into my free time. I'm also moving out of the room I'm currently residing to the basement of my house; another transition. I'm devoting more of my power towards developing another comic, which hopefully won't end up on the huge pile of half-done ideas I've had over the entirety of my life, AND I'll be away at Comic Con in July. With all of this happening in a relatively short amount of time, I've decided it'd be best to takeoff from now until August off. To repeat: there will be no new comics until the 1st of August. With all of this happening at once, I think it'd be unfair to you, the loyal Distant Screamer, to continue pumping out mediocre comics at a regular pace. But don't you fret, Distant Screaming will be back most assuredly, with new and terrible ways to hurt people. But until then, be safe and hurt each other.

Just a heads up as to why there was no comic this past Friday. I discovered, to some dismay, that my computer was running slow. Very slow. Continental shift-slow. So, I decided to invest in some anti-virus software and lo and behold, I found that my computer was infected, not with 1 or 6 or 22, but 488 different viruses. 488 cases of internet syphillis, people. My point is, when you're on the internet, wear condoms on your fingers.

SPRING BREAK! WOO! SPRING! BREAK! WOO! SPRING. BREAK. Spring Break has finally dawned upon us, or in this case, me. Therefore, I've decided to take the next week off. But fear not, true believers, I'll be back in full swing with creative and varied ways to express pain in greyscale on the 17th.

People, I come before you today with an idea and it is this: anything is possible. Distant Screaming has hit 200 comics, with almost 30 good ones. This coming from a man who loses interest with what he's doing before he starts it. The idea that I'd have the kind of focus to pull off 200 comics seems insane to me, but it's happened. More good news. For those of you that don't know, Jay Goldberg, creator of Freedom Fries, has launched his collaborative experiment in surrealism, Deep, of which I am a contributing artist. So go check it out and vote for us, or I'll bite your eyes out.

Well, it's happened. The cast page has had a major update. It now includes every character that's ever played a part in this poorly acted farce I call a web comic. I've also made sure to add voice talent suggestions where appropriate.

Hey kiddies, gather 'round! It's time for another update. I've added two new pieces of DS fan art to the appropriately titled Fan Art section of the site, one of which I did myself and another done by Ben Fleuter, creator of Parallel Dementia. Ben and I, along with a few other artists, are working at a new collaborative comic project. More on that as it unfolds...

Woo! It's time for college again. Maybe now I'll be able to tell what day of the week it is. Also, our beloved Dr. Mustache made a guest appearance in a cheeky little comic here.

Just a few minor changes to the site, but I think everything is in it's place. The general consensus seems to be that people like the new website and I agree. Gone are the days of grey blobs floating in blackness. Now we have funny wallpaper.

Alright kiddies, I'm not entirely sure what possessed me to stay up all night and completely overhaul my website, but I did. Let me know what you think of the new design.
